Jeanette McTegart (teaches Tuesdays noon and Sunday 9am)
Jean completed 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training in May 2017 and an additional 300 hours in October 2019. Since then, she has taught yoga for the Johns Hopkins Wellness program, Meadowbrook Swim Club, at a non-profit cancer support organization, and at the Baltimore Yoga Village. Her teaching style is rooted in the holistic approach of Sivananda Yoga, a classical and holistic approach to Hatha Yoga that works with the whole body. Jeanette fosters a “come as you are” approach to her classes that invites students to arrive on their mat with no other expectation other than to be present in body and breath. A sense of humor is also helpful and encouraged.
